One of Brisbane’s oldest and most iconic restaurants is getting a face-lift. E’cco Bistro on Boundary Street in the CBD will close for five days from September 21, re-opening with a fresh new look.

The restaurant, which was awarded one hat in the 2014/15 Brisbane Times Good Food Guide, will be officially relaunched on October 8. A complete re-branding of the venue is believed to be in the works.

As well as an extended bar and a menu with more starters and grazing options, the venue will feature all new furniture, fittings and colour scheme.

The owner of E'cco Bistro, Philip Johnson, could not be reached for comment.
