They're still in the running for the My Kitchen Rules crown but it seems contestant Drasko Jankovic has already profited from the reality television gig after scoring a job in a Sydney restaurant.

And not just any restaurant. A source told Fairfax Media he has joined the team at a restaurant part-owned by MKR judge Colin Fassnidge.

Fassnidge is associated with two Sydney eateries – Paddington's Four in Hand and 4Fourteen in Surry Hills.

Fairfax Media has confirmed that Jankovic has been hired by Four In Hand, but that he hasn't started yet.

Staff at Four In Hand declined to be interviewed about the new appointment. Jankovic has been contacted for comment.

It's believed Jankovic has made the move to the eastern states with his cooking partner, and now wife, Bianca in tow, who used to work as a print journalist and later in a communications role.

Jankovic is no stranger to the television screen. Before his stint on My Kitchen Rules, he worked as a news reporter for the ABC and for GWN, Channel Seven's affiliate station in regional Western Australia.

The pair tied the knot in Perth in late January and recently shared their wedding video online.

After successfully ousting mother-and-son team Rose and Josh in Sunday night's episode, Drasko and Bianca's winning lamb and cauliflower dish will be served up on international Jetstar flights for the next three months.

A spokeswoman for Channel Seven confirmed the pair are in Sydney for "MKR publicity commitments".

Meanwhile, Jankovic's new boss Fassnidge will be at the centre of a two-part series to air on Channel Seven later this year.

My Ireland With Colin will follow Fassnidge on a whirlwind tour of his home country and its culinary scene.

Meanwhile, Kat and Andre were eliminated from the My Kitchen Rules competition on Tuesday night by fellow WA team Eva and Debra.
