Confirmed speakers include Redzepi, Kylie Kwong, Momofuku's David Chang, Italian superstar chef Massimo Bottura, Australian social researcher Rebecca Huntley and Zimbabwean food activist and farmer Chido Govera.

Redzepi is currently in Australia for a 10-week residency of Noma restaurant at Barangaroo.

The not-for-profit MAD (the Danish word for food) started in Copenhagen in 2011 as a forum for food professionals in all sectors of in the industry to gather together and discuss the state of eating and initiate new projects.

Further details about the event are expected to be released on Tuesday.

MAD always puts on a terrific spread in Copenhagen and although there's no word yet on what (if anything) attendees will be eating at the Sydney event, Good Food fingers are crossed for Dave Chang fried chicken and Massimo mortadella.
